Hectors of land

I’m correcting midterms, which is a potential treasure grove of new finds. Unfortunately, most are in French in my case – I’ve added them to my poteaux roses. There was this one just now: “Parasites can be either endoparasites or hectoparasites.” Kind of like Medusa. That led me to look for Hectors of land, as a kind of classical Lehman’s term. Not an eggcorn, unless someone thinks that Hector was a Trojan surveyor when not involved in heroic combat. Almost no one capitalizes it so it might be phonetic.

So far it has burnt more then 31,000 hectors of land
