coming to grasp with things

More an idiom blend or malaprop than an eggcorn, but still. Or an independent formation: the first quote is impressive for its antiquity.

As King of Spain, without the Low Countries he may trouble our skirts of Ireland, but never come to grasp with you. 1580 Pappe -w. Hatchet (1844) 17

How do i handle dad who wont come to grasp with his situation.

Sometimes, children struggle to come to grasp with letting go of their parents to learn how to talk to and play alongside other kids and to explore a new setting.

Dealing with fear and attempting to come to grasp with recent events, is the best way forward. Together we can do this.”

And there are many more. A blend (I suppose) of begin to grasp , come to grips with , get a (good) grasp on , grapple with , and so forth. Or you could see it as more simply a grips/grasp malaprop.

*If the human mind were simple enough for us to understand,
we would be too simple-minded to understand it* .

(Possible Corollary: it is, and we are .)
