At least 30 years ago, a friend of mine who was a computer programmer at some bank told me she spent one day a week doing “bonification runs”, ie batch processing of various accounts to see if they had been “bonified.”

About 25 years ago, engineers I worked with tried to use BONNIFIED (past participle of BONNIFY, presumably) in a construction specification, in the part of the specification involving bidders’ qualifications.
