Even more than “reknowned,” I’ve noticed “reknown” and especially “world reknown” used as an adjective — “a world reknown something” instead of “a world-renowned something.”
I found 87,900 Google hits for “world reknown.”
“World Reknown Haitian Journalist Aubelin Jolicoeur Dies”
“World reknown accounting firm is looking for suitable and bold candidate to help make up financial records for Chinese listed companies.”
