Censor as an eggcorn of censure…
Google counts were not too helpful in enumerating the mistaken usage of censor, but specialized /tailored Google searches were helpful in locating the eggcorn usage. E.g., “receive a censor,” and “censor him for.”

To “censure” means to make an official judgement often involving condemnation. To “censor” means to examine a piece of word and purge the elements deemed offensive. Both have a negative connotation involving a judgement upon a person, but the latter sometimes wins out since it is the more familiar word.

How about “censor” for “sensor”?
