I’ve heard this locally, used by several teachers in a suburban Montreal school system. Has anyone run acros it elsewhere? Prior to this, I’d heard only “laxadaisical,” which has been cited at least a couple of times in this forum.

I haven’t heard your usage, but on a related note, I once heard a woman use “laissez-faire” when she meant “lackadaisical.” At least, that’s the nearest I can figure she meant.
