Great find, Peter. A while back I had pondered whether any sighting of “Bored of education” would qualify as an eggcorn of “Board of education,” but I decided that I couldn’t present a credible case: the imagery is too far adrift to be seen as an accidental substitution. (Besides, any unintentional usage is likely to be a misspelling).
By contrast, “board stiff” has real, legitimate imagery.

I’m resurrecting this thread because I recently stumbled across this example: “I get board easy and always looking for the new thing to do.” I reckon this is a common mistake, and often just a misspelling, but Peter makes a pretty good argument for eggcornicity above.
