DARING do (derring-do) -- not an eggcorn.

If we were to follow the etymology, we’d find that derring-do derives from words that also mean daring. Hence, there is no real departure from the original imagery with daring do, and consequently no eggcorn here.

From: http://wordsmith.org/words/derring-do.html

derring-do (DER-ing DOO) noun
Daring acts, often tinged with recklessness.
[From Middle English dorryng do (daring to do) misprinted as derrynge do and interpreted as a noun form.]
