Go over it with a fine tooth-comb

Is this an egg corn? It should be a fine-tooth comb, of course, so there’s no word difference really, just meaning.

To avoid redundancy, one can do two or three things;

1. Click on “Search” on the red menu option above. Enter a key word, e.g., “tooth” or “combs” and see what comes up.
2. Search through the Eggcorn Database’s alphabetical listing;
3. Run a Google search with the phrase and the word “Eggcorn”. E.g., Google Eggcorn “fine tooth comb”
