Only three googlehits for this variant of ‘short and curlies’ (a slang expression for pubic hair). It is eggcornish in that the original expression has been misheard/misunderstood, and there is a slight change in imagery – ‘curlies’ could be head-hair and the ‘shortened’ could refer to the difference in length. To those familiar with the original expression the image may veer towards being held fast by tweezers…
