Seen on a recent blog comment, someone thanking the contributor for their wonderful insides into the behind the scenes of a game. We’ve seen this same one elsewhere—like on a recent political discussion on Fark. It definitely has a certain logic to it…

I’ll buy that explanation. Since insights can offer a glimpse at what’s inside something otherwise inaccessible, it’s no surprise the latter word might replace the former sound-alike word in an eggcornish manner. Nice find, and as far as I can tell it hasn’t been suggested previously.
