Orderless for odorless

Came across “odorless” eggcorned as “orderless” here:

Narcotic investigators face new changes in drugs. “It’s orderless, colorless and tasteless so the person doesn’t know when it’s put in their drink.”

It googles well, too, especially in conjunction with “colorless” and “tasteless.”

Re: Orderless for odorless

I need a little more elaboration on the imagery that would be created in substituting “orderless” for “odorless.” For instance, in the example cited above, I’m drawing a blank. It actually reminds me of JFK’s pronunciation of “Cuba” as “cuber,” so I’m wondering if “orderless” is someone’s eye dialect for “odorless.” Feel free to set me straight on this.
