Relayble for reliable

This is perhaps on the borderline between a eggcorn and a typo.

Source: http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page (as of Oct 7 2007, and it’s been there for at least a week). There is the (un)official iPhone Dev Wiki site. Quote:

“We are pround to announce a new public release version of our anySIM software. This new version 1.02 fixes a lot of bugs regarding the timing and false fail report issues. For now, this version of anySIM should unlock your phone relayable, if possible. Also the whole process was speeded up a lot.”

(“pround” is clearly a typo)

Assuming this is not a simple typo, I guess it sort of make sense that something is reliable if you can relay it to someone else. Plus, another possible (performance) factor may be the underlying <y> in “reliable”.
