This is perhaps on the borderline between a eggcorn and a typo.

(“pround” is clearly a typo)
Assuming this is not a simple typo, I guess it sort of make sense that something is reliable if you can relay it to someone else. Plus, another possible (performance) factor may be the underlying <y> in “reliable”.
