"innocent bystander" or "innocent bistandard"

I’m not even sure which is correct myself. I always thought it was bystander, but then I was on some forum where someone mentioned something about an “innocent bistandard”, and then I made sure I hadn’t been wrong the whole time by testing both on google and both yielded a lot of results.

I’m pretty sure it’s bystander… unless the latter also means something else. Kinda reminds me how when I was younger I thought “jealous” and “zealous” were the same word.

Re: "innocent bystander" or "innocent bistandard"

damn, I just did a search and found it was already discussed… meh, but “bistandard” yields a lot more results than “bystandard” with a Y, so I guess this is a little valid…
