Don’t know what a “bition” is, but the idea that inhibitions are a product of our inner beings is a common one. Once you’ve lost the parallel with “prohibition” through the reshaping, maybe the existence of “ambition” – another word referring to an aspect of our psychic interior – helps support this reanalysis. Admittedly, however, “innerbitions” tends to occur most in posts with lots of non-standard spellings. Not common – less than 20 once all the lyrics sites for Britney Spears and others are removed. [And by doing such removal I learned the Romanian word for “lyrics”: “versuri.” Now you know….] Examples:
isn’t this indeed how he wants full attention lavished on him, being adored and loved and in both cases all innerbitions are out the window and all hiding is done for u are completely uncovered for all eyes there to see.

[since this is a poem, perhaps “innerbitions” should be seen as poetic license]

What do you suppose all the web biology papers mean by the word “inbition?” Over a thousand ghits (http://www.google.com/search?q=%22inbit … =firefox-a). “Inbition” is used in these papers in a way that seems to be a replacement for “inhibition.” I can’t find “inbition” in any dictionary I have access to. Perhaps it’s just a misspelling, but it is odd to have a simple misspelling replicated in so many formal papers. Is it possible that “inbition” is on its way to becoming an English word? If so, I think I’ll just slit my wrists now.
Anyway, “inbition” gives some life to your “bition” lexeme. As do the 4000+ hits for “probition,” many of which are misspellings of “prohibition.”

fwiw, about 2.4k rghits on “inner inhibitions”
Release your inner inhibitions here. Be an irresistible lover
Strict education, necessary on the whole, spares the child a superfluity of inner inhibitions that would cause it to react neurotically.
and so forth.
External things can inhibit one, so it’s not automatically a redundant phrase, but we so often mean inner inhibitions when we say inhibitions that it sure feels like one. (American Heritage lists as definition 3 ” Psychology Conscious or unconscious restraint of a behavioral process, a desire, or an impulse.”, but that’s the most prominent definition for many Americans.
Anyhow the possibilities for portmantisization/phonological reduction from there to innerbitions are pretty obvious, I think.
btw and fwiw, exerbition(s) gets about 500 rghits, and exebition(s) about 50k. Not to mention exobition(s) at about 500. I think bition is becoming quite the nice standard stem.

we would be too simple-minded to understand it* .

we have ambitions—the urge to succeed in the outside world
why not innerbitions—the urges that are internal?
