“Set primarily in the frozen northwest reaches of Alaska, the stunning cinematography by Tom Sigel creates an appreciative difference in the experience of viewing Salmonberries on a theatrical screen rather than home video.”

“Chances are you will notice an appreciative difference in the overall abilities of the rod as you test cast your way through this process.”

And a nice example from a Paula Zahn CNN interview with Donnie Deutch, CEO of Deutch Inc., in which (if we can trust the transcriber), Zahn uses appreciable in her question and Zahn replies with appreciative:

“ZAHN: I’m still having trouble understanding, though. What is the appreciable difference between “Joe Millionaire” this year and last year?

DEUTSCH: Well, to me it’s zero or zero. I mean, personally. But I think the appreciative difference is it’s not new anymore. It was a novelty. Eighteen million people tuned into the first episode last year, 6 million less the last year.”
