A nautical mile is 1852 meters. A knot is 1 nautical mile per hour. There’s no such thing as a knotical mile. Examples:
Distance in latitude is very simple since one minute of latitude is exactly one knotical mile everywhere on earth.
Could someone please tell me what a Knotical mile is in comparison to the standard mile.
It had taken me a full 2 hours to make the 5 knotical mile journey back to port.
“With a 160-knot cruise speed and an 800-knotical-mile range, the SR20 is a great cross-country aircraft.”
