I was listening to a knitting podcast (“Stash and Burn”, episode 88) today and heard an eggcorn that caught my ear.
At one point, one of the podcasters says (at about 11:15) says:
“put the kebabs on THAT argument.” instead of “put the kibosh on that argument.”

Really funny! Welcome to the forum, archergal.
A malapropism for sure. Probably not an eggcorn, though. I can’t think of any kebab imagery that might encourage the replacement of “kibosh” with “kebab.”
Hatching new language, one eggcorn at a time.

On a knit-picking podcast? A knitting needle skewering the argument?
