'the devil in Carnet' for 'the devil incarnate'

I heard, really I did, someone pronounce this as “the devil in Carnac (or Karnak?)” but there are no confirmatory ghits. Carnet on the other hand has over 40, but only a few are capitalised. It is possible that some believe Carnet is perhaps a holiday resort where fiends in red tights behave even more badly than usual:

Norton and symantec are the devil in Carnet! I have never had one good incounter with there tech support and there products never work well(except Ghost). ...

You Heard What I said you are the Devil in Carnet! And what is that a Devil Sandwich made of lies and hubris? Do I have the Wrong House? O.. ...

My SIL is the “Devil in Carnet” at times. People write me with “one better,” all the time, but for me this is as close as I need to come to the two-horned …
