Following up on Juan’s summerily : This has been reported a number of times on the Internet, but strikes me as a real eggcorn:
Without reading my mind, how would even you ever determine whether I said “a case we summarily dismissed” or “a case we so merrily dismissed”?
So, looking at your facts it appears we have once again seen why your comments are always so merrily dismissed – they are plain and simple WRONG
Lady typed it “which we so merrily dismissed.†– from the diary of Elizabeth Black Mr Justice and Mrs Black; the memoirs of Hugo L Black and Elizabeth Black
I too am puzzled why Tom Wright thinks a Covenant will address the problem when the clear ruling of Lambeth 1.10 has been so merrily ignored.

Glad to have set your mental cogs in action.

“So merrily” is a classic. One might so pose that there are other eggcorns of this form.
Celeb overdoes Nyquil
I thought the same thing about her “passing out†so posedly, but then I remembered that I quote-unquote “passed out†after a shot one time

Our mountain bikes seem to take us back to when we were kiddies, I so pose that’s why we love them.
I so pose that’s when we need it most
I so pose that’s why they have doggie years
