'embrawled' for 'embroiled'

I heard (or thought I heard) someone say “enbrawled” where “embroiled” would be the likelier choice. Since embroilment often features conflict which can lead to actual fisticuffs and worse, brawl seems a suitably eggcornish substitution for broil:
