"Advent garde" for avant garde

Advent has come again. This post harks back to one of the first posts on this forum, one that subsequently figures in one of the classic exchanges on the eggcorn soapbox, Eggcorns or only misspellings. “Advent garde” guitarists, I’m afraid, are only pail copies of the avant garde.

I also realise that occasionally posting videos of utterly incredible advent garde guitarists, whom I personally find to be incredible, may not really be playing to these specific demographics, but you know what? I don’t care. I like advent garde guitarists, the rest of you can just suck it.

The advent garde benefited greatly when Rodchenko gave up painting and took up photography.
