Many apologies! On Saturday afternoon I was in the Eggcorn Forum back offices, deleting spam, when suddenly all the lights went off. I don’t know exactly how I brought down the site, so I’m not sure how to keep from making the same mistake in the future. But apologies to everybody for our shuddered/shuttered weekend—especially since many of us are starting to sharpen our pencils for the annual best-of-list mayhem at the beginning of the year. (And this year I promise to participate again…)
