"Rec Beach" for Wreck Beach

From facebook today:

3 hours ago: It’s sunny! Beach time! :D
About an hour ago: Finally I’m seeing some naked men
54 minutes ago: Rec beach?

I happen to know that Vancouver’s nude beach is Wreck Beach. Dozens clearly think its rec-reational beach. The hit offered here also confuses the name of Grouse Mountain.

Where to take photos in Vancouver
I would say Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Robson St., English Bay, Rec Beach is a must!
If you can go to Whistler, it’s a great drive up, about 1.5hrs from Van. Also Grosse Mountain has a nice view of Vancouver, Do the Grosse Grind up!
Response: stanley park, gastown, chinatown, downtown, forget rec beach unless you want to see naked old people (go to a strip club instead) lol.

Re: "Rec Beach" for Wreck Beach

I should have thought of this back then, but it only occurred to me today upon seeing a photo of a tidal deposit of wrack.

Vancouver has a very open culture. Not only there is a nude beach (Wrack Beach) next to UBC, but also it is the first city in Canada (probably first in North America too) to legalize small quantity marijuana possessions
Naked bike rally for more nude beaches

Re: "Rec Beach" for Wreck Beach

“The Rec” was what we called the park, with swings and slides usually in a sorry state of disrepair:

And there are Youtube videos of people “messing around down the wreck”

On the plain in Spain where it mainly rains.
