"faulted" for vaulted

The presence of faulted ceilings is probably not a great selling feature for a house. The pictures usually show vaulted ceilings. Instead of the vault, or arch, of the ceiling, the perps might see the form as reminiscent of a geological fault. Or maybe the exposed beams resulted from misreading the plans.
