"utter" for "udder"

Googling “cow’s utter” yields about 500 or so purportedly unique hits, though some looked redundant to me. It just seems like a misspelling, probably largely due to the fact that many folks would pronounce “utter” like “udder”.

It does seem a little less likely than the converse (udder < utter) to be a purposeful joke.
