“Disbanned” seems to have two meanings.
One is a usage is where some of us might use the word “disbanded,” such as:
White House petition: “Disban the Humane Society of The United States on the basis of fraud and racketeering .”
Opinion: “Living proof the U.N. should be disbanned”
Question: “Is it true the Marine Corps is disbanning the Military Police Officer MOS?”
But another usage is as an antonym for “ban”:
Forum admin request: “Please disban me”
Forum admin request: “I want to be disbanned please”

Seems like “disbanned” for “disband” is just a slip—the presumed meaning of disban, to reinstate, would be at odds with “disband.”
