"prefix" for "prix fixe"
This one’s already in the Eggcorn Database in some form, but I got a chuckle out of this example (from the Style Invitational Devotees Facebook group), so thought I’d share it:
A neighborhood restaurant advertises a “prefix” dinner. Would that include ante-pasto, sub-sandwiches, and semi-cola?
