To be enhammered with something is to be seriously inebriated by it, or maybe concussed and seeing stars and cherubs.

Perhaps the difference between Greek polytheism and Nordic polytheism is the difference between this eggcorn and its acorn —between Amour of the Gods and Hammer of the Gods.
