blind sighted

gravity, i think you answered your own quenstion, we might be blind sighted 6 yrs ago, but now the puzzle is all comming together, after some digging in the a library, there was a book published during the invasion of afghanstan by Soviets, but was not clear then how to tackel the problem, the thought of US making a another mistake, a major mistake was always the question, first vietnam, then UBL, The U.S trained Viet-cong on gorilla tactics against the french, then they used it against U.S, that was a mistake lingering on any senators brains, but to repeat the same mistake, knowing after the soviet invasion that UBL would be free roaming?

It is not clear that the person is substituting “blind sighted” for “blind sided” in this example. Were you thinking of some other acorn?
