I always hate these so called infographics that use the periodic table layout to simply jazz up what is otherwise a simple list, possibly grouped into categories.
The beauty of the real periodic table is that elements in columns have things in common (both atomically and as physical or chemical properties), and so do rows. There is a natural order to it by atomic number. And some of that order is reflected in the periodicity of the elements (due to electron shell arrangements, under old-school, pre-QED models of the atom).

The periodic arrangement made me look at the various rows and columns to find common “valences.” Couldn’t find them, though.
