This lens has the ability to throw the background WAY out-of-focus, and I just love the bouquet effect.

Listening to a youtube video about the differences between two cameras, I was struck by the reviewer’s pronunciation of an arcane photography term: bokeh. I have understood it to be pronounced differently—not so close to bouquet. Wikipedia explains it thus:
In photography, bokeh (Originally /ˈboÊŠkÉ›/, /ˈboÊŠkeɪ/ BOH-kay — also sometimes pronounced as /ˈboÊŠkÉ™/ BOH-kÉ™, Japanese: [boke]) is the aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image produced by a lens. Bokeh has been defined as “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light”.
I’ve filed bouquet here under innovations because I’m not sure what the suspectibles understand by a bouquet effect. Bokeh is the pleasing background of unfocused stuff in the frame. Do the innovators imagine that the warm fuzzy background is akin to the auxiliary baby’s breath and salal that acts as a foil? Or is bouquet just mondegrenous.
