Commandering Chief for commander in chief

Driven by the likes of Fox news they have driven up the narrative of racism in America to the extent that their black
Commandering chief has sidelined himself on this matter for fear of not wanting to be seen as looking out for the interest of black people which in it self has driven the race agenda back 30 years

Re: Commandering Chief for commander in chief

I like it! Sometimes the chief does spend a lot of time and energy commandering (or at least looking commandering.)
.
And it’s new to the site, apparently. There are lots of hits out on the Internet, such as:

I proudly serve the commandering chief, those appointed over me. And protect those under my lead. I am a fearless sea warrior. I am proud and an American.

It took a plan to become a president, and President Obama was a normal citizen before he became the Commandering Chief of our great nation.

(from a 1944 newspaper ) I am now surprised that you do not come out in full support of Tojo, because you seem to be in perfect agreement concerning o u r Commandering Chief.

But most of them are likely puns, including a book with the phrase in the title which is repeatedly cited. And of course the above may be as well.
.
Welcome to the forum, danc!

*If the human mind were simple enough for us to understand,
we would be too simple-minded to understand it* .

(Possible Corollary: it is, and we are .)
