Cyclonic jerks

From a facebook post describing the symptoms of a grand mal seizure:

The symtoms of a grand mal seazer are as fallows:
1. musel spacims or (COGNITIV JERKS) a peried of time were you’r musels well jerk uncontruably.

Spelling challenges aside, what might cognitive jerks be? I think the target might have been clonic jerks, from Greek klonos “turmoil”. Hold on, there must be part of the word missing. Aha, cyclonic jerks makes more sense, from the violence of the spasms. Like the cyclonic jerks that whirl you around at the edge of sleep.

What is that weird fake falling sensation you sometimes get in bed just before going to sleep?
R: I think it’s called the myoclonic jerk or the cyclonic jerk
