Probably a blend of “itchin’” and “antsy”. In its (South Carolina casual) context, “anxious” is a bit less probable, but also may be part of the mix.

Visually it’s not far from aching which would fit nicely if that ‘n’ had been a stray intrusive and – no, that won’t work. Perhaps angshing could refer to the related anguish and anxiety?
