Grateful

I looked and couldn’t find anything here or in the database proper.

Does the misspelling Greatful (see Grateful) qualify as an eggcorn?

I would say that “greatful” could possibly be an eggcorn of “grateful” if the speaker is somehow alluding to the greatness of the one to whom the gratitude is directed!
