"moors" for "mores"

Context: “she, too, is somewhat trapped by social moors”, when “social mores” appears to be what the author intended.

The imagery here is, I suppose, that of social values and conventions being like a moor that it difficult to navigate. (The match is even closer if you’ve encountered the word only in writing and pronounce it yourself to rhyme with “stores”.)
