My boss is always dropping his eggcorns all over the place.
One that he uses regularly is in’cure’ (incur) since he often talks about costs.
Another is “your respected areas (respective areas), which sort of works but it’s not what he’s really trying to say.

“In cure” has the potential to be an eggcorn if we can figure out the imagery intended by it. (I.e., the literal meaning that your boss posited). With no imagery, it’s liable to something like a malapropism.
The same goes for “respected” replacing “respective.” My first instinct is that it’s just a silly malapropism, but—just maybe—your boss really believes that each locale where a worker resides is a “respected” area in the sense that others must respect their privacy and not go snooping through their stuff. If that’s the case, it just might be an eggcorn.
