In CatherineR (I presume that’s Regina)’s post on the bump bed, she pointed to a link of a first hand account, that also bore witness to a moppet referring to his heart beep. Perhaps they think that the beeping of a heart monitor is through a chest microphone.

my heart beep is 120 per minute… is that normal??
even If Im sitting down and relaxing it beeps very fast. I’m so scared… i’m only 22 and sometimes suffer from anxiety but other than that im vert healthy.

I was went to Dr for a check up and was thrill when Dr can be able to detect the baby heart beep.
