"subluminal" for subliminal

In Joe’s comment on beyond pale, I noticed that someone used the word subluminally. Do they construe it as something hidden, under the radar, invisible, shady, sub-luminal? Or is it just a spelling mistake? This one is a long shot, requiring a somewhat sophisticated misunderstanding of an only moderately sophisticated acorn. And it could be a simple typing repetition of the first u. Weak, but, again, who knows. I doubt they are talking sublight speed.

YouTube comment There is a subluminal message in this one. Can you see it?

Your TV is controlling you Have you noticed the increased use of the flash to white scene changes on TV lately, so bright it lights up the room the TV’s in? What should we worry about, lights over a lake a few hundred will see firsthand, or the manipulation of light in the majority of the civilised worlds homes that could be used to send a subluminal message that tens of millions will see?
