Piggyback riding was first pick back riding, and was related to “pitch”ing yourself onto someone else. The notion that pigmanship was involved developed through one of those ubiquitous eggcorn transfigurations, through “pig back” riding. Nevertheless, there have been some genetic reversions to picky backs. Here’re a couple of new modes of transportation, via piggybank and pinkyback rides. Piggy bank rides make about as much sense as piggy back rides. Pinkyback rides must refer to the erythema induced by dorsal chafing.
I do smile and laugh a lot around him and I have declared him my friend…but I have yet to scream his name or ask for a piggy bank ride…ha ha…I don’t know about the piggybank ride.
