Death-defying --> deft-defying

Here’s an interesting one. Death-defying stunts typically require you to be deft. This is from an article on ski jumping in the Olympics.

In 2005, Gian Franco Kasper, who was then president of the International Ski Federation and a member of the IOC, was uncomfortable with how landing the deft-defying stunt would impact women’s bodies, stating that the sport “seems not to be appropriate for ladies from a medical point of view.”
