Three nonces

April Fool’s Day – bring out yr nonces. This year I’ve posted most already, with little compunction. Here are the stragglers. A stay and age I read as a passage here below.

Why do game developers think they can get away with this kind of bs? By releasing more content/modes at a later date. Street Fighter V getting Arcade mode in June the latest and now episodic missions in this. In this stay and age? It’s absolutely ridiculous. SMH

I found that one when looking around for remarks about the modern world, which is dripping with this stain, to wit:

In this stain age nothings about personality it’s all about looks and beauty.

I’m sorry but who the hell in this stain age wears FLARED JEANS!? like were not from the bloody 60’s people!!!

have found violence to be obsolete in this stain age….

Next, a nice first person account of their analytical malady:

Oh!! I now have tinners elbow – fluid on the elbow that the miners would have had as a result from crawling through tunnels.

A final straggler:

By the time they were actually doing it, a stupid smile had been permanently plastered on my face that made me look like one of the Braidy bunch on acid.

Re: Three nonces

This seems quite harsh in this staying age but it most definitely happens but in a more subtle way.

Why in this dane age of technology are we still using rubber cam belts and not timing chains?!!!!

And that last one triggered other examples in the same discussion, such as:

In this stained age, a woman who marries her high-school sweetheart and sticks with him for decades is . . . antediluvian, in the best sense.

A quick search found quite a few more examples of “this dane age”, such as:

I think it’s ridiculous that, in this dane age, we are still unable to accept gay people into our society.

Re: Three nonces

Oooops. In this day in age (my own advanced one) I should have trod more gingerly. See these stained, staying, stay-in, stain, dane and dying ages.
