Hey, Athens has its own tutelary deity in Athena, so why shouldn’t Venice get one, too? And Mars and Venice are in fact quite different—the metaphor still works after a fashion. Personally, however, I’d rather be from the place women are from. I hear the pasta on Mars is lousy. Examples:
What a bunch of bunk Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venice is.
I also want to suggest you read a couple of books called Wild at Heart and Men are from Mars Women are from Venice. That would give you a bit of a better understanding of a guys perspective.
