Furlorn = Forlorn

The wife just said this accidentally, describing our cat who looked deeply sad.

It can be used to describe any sad pet, so long as it’s furry.

Funny. Not an eggcorn, but it’s a good pun. Thank you for posting it.

In the early days of this forum someone called attention to “forlorn hope,” which does seem to be an eggcorn. (http://eggcorns.lascribe.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=30)
