Not an eggcorn I guess because it’s too localized or whatever.
Here in Western New York, there’s a small rural town that has its annual agricultural fair like so many do, but for whatever reason this one attracts people from the whole region. Eden, NY has a corn festival. Sweet corn hot on the cob, and of course midway rides, etc.
My niece and nephew were taken every year and they, along with some of their friends apparently, were under the impression that it’s called the “Eating (or eatin’) Corn Festival.” That’s certainly one of the main things people go to it for.

Localization limits how many of us will get tickled by it without an explanation, but doesn’t keep it from eggcornhood, in my opinion. I like it.
