"adreadaline" for adrenaline

Adrenaline is the hormone that is released from the adrenal glands, which as the name indicates, are attached to the kidneys. It mediates the “fright, fight, flight” response to stress. A transformation into adreadaline conveys the emotions it can stir up.

Pooossssibly. I count six unique examples that look like real mccoys.

Perhaps those using “adreadaline” first heard the word “adrenaline” from someone who had a cold.

Re: "adreadaline" for adrenaline

Tough crowd. I count 8 good hits on the first page of an adreadaline-fueled search, and certainly more than 100 overall. I like this one because I didn’t dream it up and go looking for it, I stumbled across it the way you have to for the most interesting concoctions. One can’t bedrudge me it.

Two responses for the rhinoocclusion theory: 1) no hits for adreadalide; 2) no one with a severe cold can be induced to utter the word adrenaline. Some sort of epee-pin emergency – I dread to think.

Tough? I’m the little Billy Goat Gruff. Wait til grandfather goat (aka Pat) comes across the bridge.

I’m getting a few more unique hits now. Strange. And I also found a few more hits with the spelling “adreadiline” and “adreadalin.” I’m coming round.
