Detroit just posted ‘bowel’ for ‘bowl.’ It’s a possilbe eggcorn, but the reverse substitution is definitely one- after all, a bowel movement does end up in a bowl. And it’s very common. Examples:
blood during bowl movement – Men’s Health – MedHelpOct 22, 2006 … This is a discussion on MedHelp about blood during bowl movement.

odd thing about bowl movement—Doctors Lounge™
when I use the restroom my bowl movement consists of blood and I have been having adomnile pains front and back …

...Just curious…what makes someone’s bowl movement smell bad…anything we can do to prevent that?

Makes me feel like a bowl in a china cabinet.
.
I have this as a malaprop in some non-eggcorning contexts:
Her kidneys are responding to diuretic medications, but still aren’t functioning well. There is also a fear that her bowl has been damaged and may not digest food sufficient to sustain her and yesterday they began feeding her at 1mL per hour. So far the food seems to be going into the bowl and not sitting in the stomach.
They mine coal from the bowls of the earth
