Now this is weird.
“Ashley Thomas AKA Bashy is at the pinnacle of a new wave of fresh British inner city musical talent that’s emerged over the last few years. This 24 year old north west London resident, has, in his virgining career, created a phenomenal impact in the streets that’s begun to knock aggressively on the door of the wider mainstream industry at large.”

I also note some virgining markets, a virgining music scene and a virgining anti-war movement out there.
Could Richard Branson be behind this? Anything else would surely clash with the (much more common) references to de-, re- and un-virgining.

Great find, malte. The connotations of “virgin” as “untouched, ripe for exploitation, at the beginning” are motivating the substitution, I would guess.
I also found three or four examples of “virgining on,” which seems to be some confusion between “verging on” and “virgin.” One of them:
Real estate site “the surrounding area is stunningly beautiful and virgining on a boom in Rural Tourism.”
By the by, I see that “verging” is frequently misspelled as “vergining,” as in this example:
A beer tasting summary: “Very roasted aroma, vergining on charcoal. Some dark fruits.”
I wonder if “virgin” or “burgeon” might be provoking some of these misspellings. There are a couple of examples in which the “vergining” is an obvious replacement for “burgeoning.” As in this:
Reply on Yahoo Answers: “I don’t know if your going to like this answer, but its a true depiction of the situation you have presented. You are witnessing the emergence of a vergining young woman, who is stroking your ego, and desires.”
(Eggcorn posters: I’m leaving this morning for a couple of weeks in Europe. Good hunting while I’m gone. I’ll miss the Gruppenzusammengehörigkeitsgefühl.)
