'decenters' for 'dissenters'

A dissenter can be seen as an outsider or non-conformist; its possible eggcorn, decenter, means to move from an established centre or focus, or render eccentric:

Very decent. There are lots of decenters out there. How about a connection to “decent”, as in righteous?

Alternatively, there are scads of “descenters” on the web who would bring their opponents down a notch. Or are they just down to earth?

but when I see popes kissing the qoran and visiting mosques I start to wonder if the descenters are actually descenting or is it the other way around, are the descenters correct? then the “catholic faithful” would be the real descenters.

That’s not descenting, as in perfumery and ferret surgery, I hope.
